It all started when a few friends who share a deep love of Django Reinhardt decided to call a few more friends and play some tunes over coffee.  Django led to Nat King Cole and Nat led to Stuff Smith.  Stuff led to Eddie Lang and Eddie led to ... well, you get the picture.  Soon the coffee jam led to weekly jams and the weekly jams led to regular gigs.  More musicians came and sat in and the band took on a mission, and a name.  The Bastards of Belleville were born.  Soon New York called and a tour was in the works.  A European promoter got wind of it and things started to take on a life of their own.  The band maintains it’s weekly coffee jams and fills in their off time with East and West Coast tours, Festivals and corporate gigs.   What’s next?  You tell us....
